The creature flicked her ear at the sound of her front hooves landing in the snow. The crunch of the white floor feeling both familiar and foreign on her hands... hooves... her mind seemed hazy as she tried to focus on what had happened. She was... in the forest... but before that... antlers? She remembered antlers, but that made sense, many of her kind had antlers, and... and she hadn't had them before? No, she didn't as a faun, but as an adult, she... it all seemed so strange... She lowered her head, her long neck stretching as her hoove dug into the snow. She was hungry, a simple question with a simple answer that sprung from the snow as she uncovered it. The taste was bland but satisfying, chewing the grass her ears twitched, the call of a herd... her herd. She bounded gracefully deeper into the enchanted wood, now another lost soul among the rest.
