Description Edit: Added some stuff, still a WIP. Working my way towards 32 elements.
I can't finish it until I can justify what's gonna be in the empty spaces.
The icons and names will change as I go along.

Compared to Pokemon:

Virus = Poison
56K = Dark
Frozen = Ice
Electronic = Electric
Hidden = Ghost
Ethereal = Flying
External = Fighting
Liquid = Water
Heat = Fire
Root = Ground
Voxel = Rock
Mechanical = Grass
Hull = Steel
Internal = Psychic
System = Dragon
Chippie = Bug

Sorting the elements like this makes it easier to see how they work together.

Each group has a creature (Virus/Chippe),
which hails from a Home (Gateway/System),
which hosts a force (Internal/External).
Each base creates a technology (Electronic/Mechanical)
Which is comes from a Foundation (Ethereal/Root).

In the center of the chart you have the 4 basic elements, Earth, Wind, Fire & Water. (Root, Ethereal, Heat & Liquid)

The diagonal elements intertwine with the surrounding groups.
Heat + Ethereal = Hidden
Liquid + Ethereal = Frozen
Heat + Root = Hull
Liquid + Root = Voxel

Replace "Frozen" with "Bluetooth".

On the hull foundation, you could maybe have a Desktop or monitor.

I don't know what Voxel is, though, so on that, I can't help.

Some of the icons were included in Windows 95, see if you can see any hidden icons in the dll-files
