Nice, sure it was an interresting scene which shown a bond between a pet and his master
Malakili a Rancor trainer. He was born on Corellia (one of my fawourite planets - Millenium Falcon was constructed there, you can wisit the planet in SWTOR during events following Jedi civil war (KOTOR) known also as Cold war) but most of his childhood he spent in slums on smuggler moon Nar Shadaa, he always had affinity to animals, he was later hired by Hutts to theirs circusses but after his fail, when one of his beasts gone loose and killed the audience, he was sold as slave to Jabba the Hutt. At that time he became fond with Jabba's Rancor named Pateesa (huttesse word for friend), Pateesa also once saved Malakili's life during Tusken raider attack. Malakili planned escape with his Rancor in future, this changed by Luke Skywalker, who killed the Rancor.Ower the following months after Jabba's death Malakili was one of those last ones who left his palace.He gone sad so much, he wandered deep to dune sea and planned there to throw himself into Great pit of Carkoon where Sarlacc living because without Pateesa he felt he had no purpose.
There he was attacked by Red Key Raiders those grew in power during absence of Jabba but he was rescued by Sheriff Cob Vanth and Issa-Or a self proclaimed law enforcers. When the two learned the Malakili is a beastmaster, they offered him work with Rontos and teaching Borgo a baby Hutt in Freetown. malakili accepted and got a new purpose. This came in handy when Sheriff defended Freetown against Red Key raiders those formed attack. With Malakili's help a group of Tusken raiders came to help Sheriff defend the town too.
Later Malakili reunited with Porcellus a former head chef from Jabba's pallace and together opened Crystall moon restaurant in Mos Eisley
