While I admit to shipping some Appledash, I really got to agree with some of your points. Honestly, people. Just because someone has something rainbow-ish on them doesn't make them automatically gay. Neither does being a tomboy. Hell, I'm a bit of a tomboy, but am I a flat out lesbian? No. Seriously, come on.

Also, may I also say that you did not come as whiny nor homophobic. There's nothing wrong whatsoever with wanting characters being straight. As well as nothing wrong with liking straight pairing. Hell, while I do ship some fem/fem pairings(but not just randomly coupling up girls for the hell of it, I assure you), I have several straight pairings in this show that I love: Flutter/Mac, Twilight/Whooves, and for goodness sakes, I pair Spike with three girls, total. THREE. XD

Well, I've made an OC for Rainbow Dash and an OC for Twilight Sparkle, my sister made an OC for Fluttershy, and I support this one guy's OC who's paired with Applejack, and I also support SpikexApple Bloom.

I agree. It's usually those who can't stand their OC's love interest paired with someone else canon or not that flip their shit over such things like this.
I never understood why this debate even matters. Whether she is or not: she's not real. It's a children's show that tries to teach kids not to be little assholes at an early age. This shipping business is absolutely ridiculous but that's what fandoms do.

Oh, yeah, another pony slash pairing that annoys me is LyraxBon Bon. Why do people think they're in a relationship? Because they were seen together when the parasprites attacked Ponyville in Swarm of the Century? They haven't even said anything to each other! Even though Bon Bon did talk in Call of the Cutie when Apple Bloom stuffs a bunch of apples in her bag.
