That's hard since couples art on this site makes up probably 95% of all the art here.
And when you say you don't like it, some folks say you're being homophobic, that you should ignore it even though it's everywhere, that it's up to fan interpretation, that you should keep your opinions to yourself,, and when you try to defend yourself, they say it's the Internet or that you should respect the opinions of others, and it makes you want to leave, but you can't because there's just as much good art as bad art and you can never really erase what you've seen from your mind...!

Nobody ever has a reason for liking all of the things they like. :/ I do agree with you though in that it's ridiculous to make a pony a lesbian. Especially when the show in general is to be enjoyed by children and those pure at heart, not by perverts. :C Although I don't know how valid my opinion could be considered because I've never seen the remake with my own two eyes. Agreed!! Dashie may be a tomboy, but it doesn't mean that she's lesbian. In real life, many tomboys grow up and become in beautiful and femenine women.
In addition, Rainbow has her girly moments (for example, when she's very close to the Wonderbolts and had a fangirl scream), as Rarity or Fluttershy (the most girly ponies) have their tomboyish moments.
Finally... does anybody remember that this show was ORIGINALLY oriented to young girls?
