Besides Leafeon, I don't think any eeveelution is in bigger need of a mega evolution than Flareon.Though it's my favorite of the eeveelutions ( so fluffy! ), Flareon's movepool is shallow and its speed stat is too low for it to land a hit sometimes.
Other than giving better moves to Flareon, I think giving it a mega evolution with an ability to help its speed or prevent recoil damage from moves like Flare Blitz would do it a world of good.
Design wise, I thought it might be interesting to make Flareon look more agile, so I rid it of the fluff around its chest. Since that adorable fluff should be used, I turned it into a big poofy cape, you can just imagine this Pokemon using Superpower.

Not bad! I think this is one of the more creative Mega Flareon designs, since most of the others are just "make it darker! And more fluffy! AWESOME!"

I don't think so, I am considering Leafeon just because it has problems in battle like Flareon. However, I took up issue with Flareon because it a nice design and a great attack stat, but such poor speed it had no way to utilize that attack.

Mega Flareon certainly looks fast with its fur being blown back like that! What's the mark on its cheek?

I came up with the ability
" Viscosity " which slows any Pokemon with a move super effective against Flareon.

Not bad. It would be interesting for each of the original eeveelutions to get a mega evolution. It would also give Flareon much more attention. Because of Umbreon and Espeon, no one ever evolves their Eevee into Flareon.
