Nice coloration and markings. Isn't it fun that you can be as wild as you want to when painting horses as far as markings go? You can create patterns and random white like no living horse could ever have.

I will get to those photos. I can tell you that you are still bending too much at the waist as your body angle is past parallel to the top of your horse's neck which is the maximum forward position you should be in otherwise you are transferring too much of your weight forward and are actually past your horse's natural center of gravity which is through the withers down the front legs.

I use one of the wet media brushes in photoshop CS, the weird speckly-star one. I set it to size, opacity, and flow jitter and adjust the scatter with a low count and high scatter.
