Entry for ~EquineLineart s current contest.
I must say, I really enjoyed drawing this one ^^ I referenced from one of my friend Alysse's photo's since she has a lot of great ones and she gave me permission to ref from them 
And yes, it's a filly, not a colt. Deal with it 
Also aware that the saddle isn't exactly right...oh well.
As per usual, this can be used on deviantART only.

Love this one. I drew it free hand a long time ago, and I forgot where I found it. So happy that I found it again. My friend loved the drawing. It reminded her of her old racehorse.

I am creating aΒ horse series called Devel Ray: The Story of An Inspiration. It is about a Thoroughbred stallion that inspires people after the 9/11 tragedy by racing. Before 9/11, he doesn't win any races or even come close. After 9/11, he is a forced to be reckon with.
