Even as the cords finally parted against the hot metal, the agile young tigress was throwing herself forward into a shoulder-roll, aiming for her fallen sword. By this point she was a thing of instinct given motion, though flowing into action without the slightest separation. She found the blade without even looking, and let her momentum carry her back around to a kneeling position, pivoting around on one knee to face toward the once-again-onrushing trolls. Tearing the gag from her face, she let out a vicious snarl of pure, feral rage; the trolls had the good sense to look momentarily worried. Temberlyn gripped her sword firmly, twisting the grip to settle her grasp, and felt a flush of indomitable confidence flow through her at the solid, reassuring weight in her hands. With a near-cocky snarl and a baleful glimmer in her emerald eyes, the fierce young tirger-warrior surged to her feet and threw herself toward her gangly, lumbering foes. The expression on their faces turned to something far more than worried, and then the battle was joined...
