"Some of the tracks I've added an artificial noise to, giving it "A Touch of Realism". I've decided not to use it on every track to allow you to consider if you like it or not.

The noise will be a hiss recording from a concert hall, keyclicks, cracking chairs, clothing and other MINOR noises. Let me know what you think of this direction."

(not Zelda: Super Paper Mario- "The Ultimate Show" needs to be reorchestrated so badly, I would love to hear one of my favorite boss themes like that )

I come around now and again! Usually around the time I've put up a new deviation myself. Though for awhile I was subscribed to a comic that kept me coming back regularly. How've you been?Β

I don't really get the artificial noise thing, but your sound is otherwise crisper than before. I suggest switching your flutes in the WW opening to wood flutes--regular ones don't capture the ancient quality of the story told on scrolls. But your Final Hours is definitely headed in the right direction. Not too much muffling, not too much improvisation (like with the ZREO version) and your use of the harpsichord is very faithful and I like that. Strings weren't the original delivery for this song, but in your rendition they work perfectly! Also, Stone Tower could use some alignment. Some of the notes feel like they might be too late or too early. Just a little.

When are you going to release an album? How many years have I been waiting on something official from you, bro? Get it done, man! I'll gladly air it on TSS (destinedhero.com).

The noise is more of an esthetic thing, it helps selling that this could be a live/real recording. I'm still not sure if I wanna go with it...
If I had wood flutes of good quality I would use it, I often find my self finding workarounds to make other instruments fit as replacements. One of the extremes being Kaepora's Gaebora themes in which the entire track is 1 octave higher so I could use a great clarinet instead of a horrible bassoon.

Glad you liked the Final hours, I've spent to many hours on that string section....

How do you feel about the direction some of the tracks are taking? Like this Song of healing? Do you think I should try to stay closer to the originals?

I'm currently in the process to prepare a album, thing is I agreed it will also be hosted on Spotify. But the company demands all tracks to be equal and high quality. No money will be made from it though, the company takes 10% and the rest goes to charity like cancer research

That's a cool plan. I think you just need to find creative ways to recreate the feelings of the songs, whether that requires derivation from the way the original sounded or not. ZREO's mistake was that they A) didn't get the tempo right and consistently released tracks that were out of alignments and B) got too creative and improvised entire melodic stretches with their own un-Zelda input. You don't have a history of doing either of these, so just keep trying stuff dude!
