Yeah that's true ^^ I think it's important to learn "the base" first. After that you can try differnt things and create your own style :3 But if the first tutorial was too complicated or too detailed it might not work cause the "student" didn't understand it all xD

i remember when i go learning paint (with mouse, i dont have "tablet") i look tutorial of make a bottle, hahaha, and after i paint a person!
