Hey there!Β

Your tutorial has been featured in my weekly journal: Tutorial Tuesday #20!

You know, you could make a sprite animation of the last four jack o lanterns slowly glowing then fading again. By the way thank for showing these pumpkins they're really cool!Β

May I ask what brushes did you use to shade at 'Building up colours'? :3

The brushes are the metal brushes which can be found here:Β cgcookie.com/concept/resource/…

The fun and pain we go through on Halloween when, instead of carving, we draw the pumpkin. This is a fun tutorial! C:

how many layers did you use on this if any?

CraftyPixel In reply to The-Ironic-Monster [2013-10-03 20:49:49 +0000 UTC]

- Judging by how it looks... two layers. -

CGCookie In reply to CraftyPixel [2013-10-03 20:53:05 +0000 UTC]

Haha for this tutorial since it was a citizen resource, each step is on it's own named layer so that any citizen member can download the .PSD and check out all the different layers and hide them etc. =]

So in total i think there are around 18 layers.
