Concept work for characters in a children's book I'm currently working on.This is a study sheet of possible animal companion designs for for the main characters.

A lot of these aren't real animals, but combinations of them. The little guy on the lower right is one that I made up instead of combining existing animals, so he doesn't really have any dominant "real" animal features. I think he's a cutie, though, so I'm going to include him in the world I'm creating somewhere. He doesn't have a species name yet, though.
