Character reference sheet for Un and Siren. Sketched in January, finally completed now. Yeah, inspiration for her markings didn't come easily. Whoot for duo personalities! <3 <3

Lifestory in under 5 minutes:

Hardly a rare occurrence, a litter of promising potential was born unto an eager pit furrecat breeder. In the early days of ‘treatment’, when the individuals are scrutinized and hardened by brutality before beign sold or trained, it was found to be most unsatisfactory that one of the females was not responding as she should. Instead of embracing the aggression and violence that is a near necessity to any pit furrecat, she cowered submissively and withdrew into herself. Her pelt was dazzling, but she was a disgusting specimen who embarrassed the world of pit furres. She was unloved, unnecessary, unforgiven, unlucky, and unnamed. Out of mockery, she was dubbed ‘Un’.

However, already resenting her for the loss of profit, the breeder was not willing to let her escape use. Thus, he devised a special role that would benefit his successful pit furres. She became a sort of dummy-doll for the young and more inexperienced fighters. Her refusal to retaliate and resist limited her capabilities of progressing another’s training, but she was good practice for the young and didn’t inflict injuries.

This position continued to be her only purpose for her earlier years, during the time in which she was shuffled between various owners. Rather than physically flee, she took flight on a psychological level. Her mind began to leave the realm of awareness often, and gradually, surely, another stepped forward to endure the torment.

Unlike Un, this new personality was not afraid to resist. Nor was she hesitant about retaliating against her foe. After the psychological dissociation, Un became restless and slightly crazed. Her eyes developed a tendency to roll back within her head or follow unseen movements. When approached, she danced away with an odd grace and irregular pattern. This elusive method proved efficient in wearing down her stronger opponents until she could safely perform series of sporadic hit-and-run attacks. This strange dance was not the foremost method adopted by the ‘new’ furrecat, though. During her dances, she became renowned to drop her jaw in a maniacal grin and wail. Her eerie screams rise and drop in a haunting song impressive enough to turn anyone’s blood cold. The intensity of the songs momentarily stun and distract her opponents as they seek relief from the ear-piercing wails.

This bizarre behavior earned the second personality the name of Siren, after the mythical women of the sea who lured sailors to their dooms with their songs. Siren became quite successful in her methods, and after being sold for a nice sum, slowly began gaining experience in the pits as a fighter.

Un/Siren was branded upon the forehead by her new owner with a symbol consisting of a cross striking an ‘s’ and two dots beneath. She wears a single bell around her neck and an anklet of small bells around her right foreleg to add music to her dances and songs. Both ears are pierced with eight silver studs on the outer rim and three on the inner.
