I'm not surprised you get loads of comments like that. I'm totally jealous of your skill. I have probably said that before actually.
I haven't tried bending objects when they move at all. Defiantly something I can try, and overuse horribly. The tutorial was a great visual aid.

trick I learned from The Animator's Survival Kit. Bend an object against the way it's moving to give a movement more impact. animators will often break the elbows of characters so that their arm motions will have more punch (no pun intended) to them.
I just took that idea and abused it rampantly. it works rather well.

You use it to great effect. I have noticed that before, but for some reason never thought to use it myself.
Hmm, I seem to recall reading that the survival kit is a book no?

a book AND a DVD series. the book is about $30. the DVDs are about $1200, if memory serves.
I bought the book

Whoa, that is quite the price for some DVDs. I think I would've bought the book as well.

well it's a boxed set of something like 12 DVDs, and they're basically a class given by one of the world's top masters of animation. you'd pay at least that much for a college course, and probably more than that for a course at a school where the likes of richard williams is teaching.
