♫Burn baby burn, Visual-Inferno♫ This time we’ll be discussing energy attacks, Goku’s Kamehameha and Superman’s heat vision.Goku’s Kamehameha has many variations, but they only vary to “blow something up” or “blast person into the opposite direction, with or without feet”. The strongest would arguably be the God Kamehameha and by corollary the 10x God Kamehameha. The only problem is that he has done very little in terms of scale. Sure, he beat the likes of Bergamo with the 10x God Kamehameha, but we have no idea what punishment he can take at the height of his power. The closest would be the destruction of King Kai’s planet, but that is really questionable as Goku would’ve been feeling the gravitational pull long before he touched down and the effects would be much greater than just feeling sluggish. Even the humans weren’t affected that adversely, if at all. Even the 10x God Kamehameha has shown little damage to... anything. Everyone was still alive and well and the arena was intact, let alone the Super Dragon Ball they were on top of.
Superman’s heat vision can be divided into two categories, Scope/Accuracy and Power. Superman managed to write a message on a wall from another part of the planet by bouncing it off a satellite and a railing, has such control that he can use it to warm Lois while in a blizzard and erased Manchester Blacks powers by micro-heat visioning his brain, “instant lobotomy” (sound familiar?). As for power, he heated up the Earth with his heat vision, shown that it was off the charts by any standard scientific scale and managed to match and cancel out absolute zero! That is beyond absurd as absolute zero is the lowest possible temperature where nothing could be colder and no heat energy remains in a substance. He even went on to the completely insane when he repaired tears in reality!

Cant argue about Superman's heat vision, since it is pretty awesome (ridiculous, but awesome) that it can reverse absolute zero. But its unfair to say that Goku cant destroy a planet, since at this point he is far stronger than Perfect Cell ever was, and his ultimate attack is stated in the guidebooks to indeed have the power to blow up the Solar System. In fact, his Super Saiyan 3 transformation alone was enough to endanger Earth, and that was when his base form was lower than Friezas final form. The main reason he doesnt harm anything is, again, Ki control. I know you think its BS, but it is outright stated to be a major factor of the SSB transformation. After all, theres a huge difference between SSJ3 and SSB transformation impact on Earth.

Microwaves=Would be useful to fry any electronic equipment used against him.
Radio=If he can make his vocal cords work at that frequency it would explain how kryptonians talk and hear each other in space.
Infrared=Heat vision.
Optic=Laser vision.
Ultraviolet=Useful against virus based lifeforms and even has a laser it is much more powerful than infrared or optics.
X-rays=Well we already see how he uses it
Gamma=Safe to say that of all the previous radiation types gamma has the greatest potential, either has a offensive weapon or invasive weapon, a way for him to see through anything.
But if he were to use all the spectrum at once, he should be able to mix them in ways that are much more powerful than just one alone, creating all new and incredible powerful ways for him to use his powers, in all manner of ways. Plus is everyone forgetting that heat vision can also be an INVISIBLE attack? You'd see it by it's portrayal in series such as smallville or the superman animated series. It is also possible to use the ultraviolet part of the spectrum to created a sort of freeze ray. I know he already has arctic breath but hey ice vision would be cool to similar to bizarro. UV would equal freeze vision if it operated like the mostly unknown nitrogen lasers, that operate in the ultraviolet spectrum. The UV radiation has many applications, not just as a form of cold laser cut, which is more effective to cut through some materials than using forms of heat.

Goku being able to blow up a planet with a full charged ki attack I can buy. But anything else like galaxy level nonsense is pure hype and hyperbole. I always hated that about DBZ. Love the show. But hate how it's credibility in feats suck.

How far? The galaxy thing or the planet thing? See I believe that most DBZ characters can blow up a planet or at least the moon. But only if they use their best attacks and charge up their ki blasts. I don't think every tiny ki blast is planet destructive all willy nilly. It's basically the same logic with naruto and his rasengan. Not every single one packs the same punch as his much bigger sized ones. And that's because he's putting everything he has in the big ones compared to his more fodder ones. No one ever freaks out in dbz about the safety other the earh until Goku charges a kamehameha for like a full minute straight.

Hmmm....How about on who's smarter? Everyone knows Goku is an idiot on anything except for fighting. But even then. Who is better at applying strategies in a fight to use all their abilities to the fullest?

Then we also got senses. Goku's got Ki sensing....But Supe's pretty much has everything else. He's like Daredevil on steroids. I know we already did one on durability but I feel like it could have been more in depth. Like I've seen Superman take a bath in ACID with his eyes open. The funny thing is...Superman has gamma vision to. He could literally give you cancer or something like that just by looking at you. Another thing people forget about the heat vision is that it can be invisible.

You can also just do one based on their potential. Goku may learn a new move or two and keep gaining transformations but overall I don't see his actual power set changing much. Where as with superman writers are always throwing hints that he's more capable then even he realizes. He may even develop new powers that are unrelated to the ones he already has.

You did? If your talking about that one with the quotes about what the characters are mean't for then that's not specifically what I mean't. I mean't feats from stories that prove superman can develop more then his usual power set. like being able to teleport or use telekinesis or telepathy or time travel. You know hax stuff like that. The modern superman is limited to his physical abilities. But future supermen tend to show abilities that are beyond applying just muscle.

It's a ki move with unreliable factors against a move that can be scoped to encompass an entire face of the planet and can go so hot that it's hotter than plankt heat.
So yeah, any suggestions for a 10th "Lookie"?
