Thanks!  This one wasn't easy, but still a lot of fun.

If you find the time, I'd definitely recommend sticking around to hear what happens.  I wrote this to be close to the show's tone, and easy to read, too.  (though I might be biased ).

My bad, I thought I had responded already, got lost in the stack.  Yeah, I did some thinking, and realized I wanted to write this story within the existing lore of the show, so I ended up with a version of him slightly different than what I started with, sorry about that .

Actually, Undeath fits perfectly.
Cerberus is canon, and so is Tartarus.
Meaning Roman/Greek mythology is canon, meaning paganism and necromancy are canon.
And my entire story for him is revolved around paganism and necromancy.

The first part goes.
Alpenglow was the Captain of the Lunar Knights of Loyalty back before Luna became NNM.
When she revolted, most, around 95% of her Lunar guards and knights stayed on her side.
Alpenglow is one of the "main characters" in that story arc's group,
 along with Lanceor and Courser.
Lanceor and Alpenglow fight, but Alpenglow is the best fighter of the group, so the fight is tough.
Lanceor wins with the help of Courser and Swordread, but during the war, Thanimus finds Alpenglow's dying body,
and takes it with him, eventually turning him into an undead.
