Description
Skirmivenator is a swamp dwelling relative of the deinoraptor, which means it is also in the same family as the erythrorcinus. The skirmivenator is specialized in hunting large freshwater alien fish, that otherwise would have no predators other than large krytes. It is highly territorial and engages in territory fights with others of its species quite often, as a result evolution has driven them to develop hardened scutes on their backs to give them another fighting chance if they are struck from above. While they do mostly only ever eat fish, they don't hesitate when hungry to go after other prey on land. As a result, they end up being quite ferocious predators in their local environments, although again they don't like to stray far from the water.
