SPOILERS: So last week i went with my second mother (i have three mothers) to ''IT chapter two'' and it was once again a really enjoyable movie , loved it tho once again i thought Pennywise's final form was kinda dissapointing . Tho a giant clown on spider legs is a awesome form i don't think it was a good final form , i was hoping that they would update the spider scene from the original 1990 miniseries and made IT's true form something really badass and demonic looking like something that austroraptorcabazai came up with . And yea i know IT's true form are the deadlights and that he's a lovecraftian being from another dimension and that his true form exists there but c'mon could you at least make a badass demonic final form . So after two letdowns i've decided to take matter into my own hands and make my own version of IT .This is how i always imagined IT's true form would be like , a kinda Edgar the bug from ''Men in black'' like monster but more demonic and frightning looking with knife like claws . To bad that never came to be .

Even though this one was impressive, I do prefer the film version instead. Allows for a more confrontational battle with the same clown that tried to kill them 27 years ago.

Oh, yeah that’s much better! IT’s final form in the movie looked like the King Candy/Turbo Cybug monster.
I wouldn’t mind that form if it was like a first phase transformation that would lead up the creature itself undisguised.

Yeah, I had the same issue with the final form of Pennywise in Chapter Two. I mean yes, a giant clown with sharp teeth and spider legs is freaky and all, but I really wanted to see the monster behind the clown as it were, instead of just Pennywise but bigger & with extra limbs. The first film seemingly hinted at the true face of Pennywise a couple of times, or at least it seemed so to me, when he sprouted those spider leg arms & revealed his gaping jaws in part 1. Those to me seemed like him dropping his mask for a moment rather than just randomly shapeshifting into whatever it could think of, especially the part where he showed the deadlights hidden down his throat. So yeah, while I still enjoyed Chapter Two and the final showdown for the most part, I would have preferred to see Pennywise transform into a spider based Lovecraftian horror like in the original It miniseries or the book instead of just another variant of Pennywise.

My thoughts exactly , i get what you mean . I too felt that way whenever he showed his ghost eyes and sharp teeth and i was indeed really looking forward to what IT looked like behind his Pennywise disguise but nope lets screw it up again and make a giant Pennywise on spider legs (UGHH!...) Is it that hard to make a badass final form ?

so basically pennywise is like edgar the bug of the mib movie, only more scarier and more violent.

Well the first time i saw the cover of the original IT miniseries and i saw Pennywise's claws i always imagined his true form to look like something really horrifying and i always had a blurry picture in my head of something that resembles The bug from MIB but indeed more scary and demonic looking. Sadly in both It versions this never came to be so i finally decided to draw my idea of his true form
