All of us know more than we can say. There are aspects of our experience that imprint onto our hearts and minds, but are beyond our current ability to compress into language. In this study I found the gaze to be express this element of losing oneself in that ocean of experience and thought. Embracing the hope that if one spends enough time in this place beyond words, that a small artifact can be brought back. A phrase, a sketch, a feeling. Something to share the inner world with the outer.
