Description
A map of what Hyrule looks like in my idea, The Legend of Zelda: The Lost Hero. I might expand this map, though.Lakeside Village- The village where Link was born. It is a small village that takes pride in its plump, sweet pumpkins and pumpkin dishes, and they even make a special kind of pumpkin ale. The village elder, Myron, leads the residents who live here.
Lake Hylia- While it may look small look small on the map, it's actually a whole lot bigger than you might think. Rumor has it that if even those who even had the most fatal of injuries will be healed if they soak their bodies in this lake, for the water is said to contain the very essence of the Goddess Hylia herself.
Hyrule Castle- The home of the royal family. Princess Zelda lives here, always greeting her subjects with a smile. This place was once ravaged by a great calamity, but has since been restored. The castle is said to be the very symbol of Hyrule's strength.
Castle Town- A town much bigger than Lakeside Village. People of all kinds, from Hylians to Zora often gather here to sell their wares or meet up with friends. If you happen to come here, you'll see Hyrule Castle, right in the heart of the town.
Faron Forest- It is said the spirit of the Goddess of Courage, Faron guards this bountiful forest, and sometimes, if you're quiet you can hear the playful laughter of the Koroks, the children of the forest. Be wary, for many monster make their home here, from Bokoblins to Moblins. Best be prepared and bring a sword with you in the event that you are ambushed. The boss monster, Lynel, is a vicious chimera-like beast, attacking anything that moves within its line of sight. Be ever mindful, should you encounter him, for your next move could also be your last.
Rito Village- A village made in the trees where the bird-like Rito race resides. The Rito that live here are a proud and valiant people, but they are normally social of welcoming of visitors. Their warriors are quite proficient in archery. Even the elder, the old and wise Gaebora, is still a skill fighter, despite his age.
Gerudo Desert- The Gerudo Desert is a vast, barren wasteland. Hardly any life is found out here. Link was sent here into exile as punishment for unintentionally bringing monsters to Lakeside Village. Be wary, for while the hot sun can beat down on you during the day, at night, the desert reaches nearly freezing cold temperatures. Many a Hylian has met their doom, here. Be wary when you go out in the open sands, for a monstrous scorpion called Gohma makes its home here.
Gerudo City- The Gerudo Tribe makes their home here. It is a city built around an oasis paradise, but it consists mainly of only large, muscular women, or "vai" as they say. Any men, or "voe", are sent into exile when they turn 13.
Ganondorf's Hideout- The Demon King, Ganondorf, in the old Gerudo Desert caves. Here, he has taken the many young Gerudo voe under his wing and raised them to be bandits.
Mt. Lanayru- A snowy mountain that is said to be guarded by the Goddess of Wisdom, Nayru. Be sure to bring warm clothing when you come here, because if you don't, you'll definitely freeze to death. White Wolfos run rampant around here, searching for their next prey...usually Hylians. Watch out for the monster that dwells within the mountain, the huge ice dragon known as Frizzor, unless you end up in his collection of frozen dead travelers.
Eventide Shores- This is where Link's adopted younger sister, Marylln, was found when she was only just an infant. Signs of wreckage found there indicate that she was either shipwrecked or there was a devastated town here. The ocean around Eventide Shores is home to the Zora race.
Eldin Valley- Eldin Valley is a vast, rocky landscape that is only accessible by horseback and said to be the doman of the Goddess of Power, Din. The fire-breathing Dodongos make their home here and are very territorial. They've been known to eat trespassers that come within their sight...thank goodness they're nearsighted.
Eldin Hot Springs- A big part of the tourist trade, the Gorons often make big money by charging people to take a dip in the rejuvenating hot springs. Only costs 50 rupees!
Goron City- The rock-eating Gorons make their home here at the very base of Death Mountain. They are known for their interests in sumo wrestling and their mining facilities. The Goron Chief, Dagru, leads his people with a proud heart.
Death Mountain- A giant volcano that almost constantly billows smoke, yet never erupts. Never the less, be cautious when you enter this place, for the gigantic King Dodongo reigns here. You'll either have to be very brave or very foolish to cross him...or perhaps both.

Ay, it's fine. Just something about Breath of the Wild's map itself that is off to me.
