one question, is there any way I can make photoshop more 'sensitive' to mah tablet? Especially for manes and tails, I would like it to be more pressure sensitive, but the ends are still super choppy and flat, they hardly fade out at all. D:

not that i know of, but if you go into what i believe is called "bamboo preferences", or whatever preference program you have for your tablet type and model, you should be able to change how sensitive it is to you. if you set it so it needs a firmer touch, it won't respond at the thickest setting without a lot of pressure, so that would fix it.

Ah, for small areas like that with little detail just go to Hue/Saturation and change the lightness.

Well, desaturate > curves preset lighter usually does the trick without losing too much definition, or brightness/contrast in place of curves. No matter what, you'll have to paint detail in, that's why white is tricky.
