how do you create the chainlinks around each of the rendered pieces?
it's a very nice effect.

Wow, I have looked at your stuff several times, and just now got the full impact of this piece. I got the sudden desire for that style as a desktop. Oh, well.

really really really sweet
the bottom part is a little bit too streched by dof but the objects in background and top is just super sweet
I wonder why every time I open up c4d I forgot to play with those modules of molecular or sth like that
just wonderful

This piece of art was stolen by this site: [link]
Thought I'd let you know. Please go post on the rip reporting thead us fractal artists have started; it'll help with the effort to get a cease and desist put on the site. [link]
I hope I have helped a bit.

Well, actually I have one Do you have any tutorials on how to apply textures on objects in Cinema? And I mean on textures that are done in Photoshop, and then applied like UV maps or something... ?

xgod-0 In reply to dplehati [2006-01-14 04:40:24 +0000 UTC]
You can apply image based textures by loading them into the desired channels when you create a texture in c4d, say you wanted to apply bricks to a wall, make a new texture, then in the color channel, just load the image, and then use the material controls in c4d to get the uv to fit how you want it to. Or better yet if you have bodypaint, its the way to go for UV maps.
try [link] or [link] for detailed tuts.
Hope that helps

It makes me think of a natural mechanic organism, if that makes any sense. Any way, the undertone, the foreshadowing, and the implications of this piece are wonderful!
