Even when we are apart.This is how I wanted KHII to end- all I wanted was for Riku, Sora, and Kairi to return to the island together- and this was suppose to be like a photograph of that.
ARGH! Please- no comments on improvement- because I know there is so much wrong with this picture. I had a background for it and everything- but I lost my coloring program and I know I wont be getting one anytime soon and blah- I went all out for this picture and never had the time to finish it. That really sucks. So here it is all plain and funky.
If I ever finish it I will resubmit and scrap this one- but I don't know if that will ever happen.
EDIT The Anti-Yaoi shirt is not hating on yaoi at all. It is an inside joke between my friends (all of who are yaoi fanatics and me...who isn't) and I was also trying to keep any sort of coupling from this picture as it is suppose to be about their friendship all together. Please don't hate on Sora's shirt.

Yeah- I wanted to go for something diffrent with their outfits and everything (didn't feel like looking up clothing refrences partly. And Sora's KH II outfit takes me so long to draw) so thanks.
Yeah- this picture wasn't really like intended to show a couple prefrence- so I tried to do an equal balance with how Kairi was touching him (she's a girl I figured the -glomp- asspect) as well as Riku (I guess the shirt gave him a little less manly look, but I thought that if I put his hand anywhere else he would look like he was claiming ownership of cute little Sora there. Hehe! I bet you think "You should have gone with that, would have been accurate!" or something yaoish that makes me smile! 
It is okay- you don't have to lie- I know that you're really forgiving me! Lol for the shirt!

I saw this picture from the beginning and I love it. I really do. I know you keep saying that you don't like the way you shade or whatever compared to other people, but I don't see it. I love the shading on the shirts espically! And OMG Riku is HAWT!!!!!! <3 The hair is magnificent too, I am sooo copying it with my dolls, if you don't mind. (I'll wait for permission before I post a doll) It is awesome...
I will say I am disappointed about that wonderful package I have been hearing about... those pants on Sora look like girl shorts!!!!! ~_^ Just teasing you lovely, I love the outfits and everything. I really do love everything about this photo

I love the fact that you put them into regular outfits (ROFL on Sora's "Anti-Yaoi" shirt... XDD)! I really love how you're getting used to shading, and it's much more subtle. The softness of the shading makes the image look more believable-- so definitely a plus there! Their poses and their expressions are SO adorable, and I love love love how clean your line-art is getting! This is a great piece, and I hope you draw more soon!
--by the by, don't scrap it!! This is a great piece, and for you to toss it aside is baaaad-- you really are improving SO much, SO fast-- you might as well keep it, and learn from it (it's a good thing to go back to these kinds of pictures later, and see how much your style has grown). Personally, I really like this picture, and I'll be faving it.

Your cell shading is seriously rockin' <33 I love how you did the folds *_* especially on Riku's pants! Haha, he looks like such a pansy with that Mickey Mouse shirt on xD *pokes him* I also adore how you did the hair--accentuating the seperate strands with shading is a cool idea, and keeps the drawing from being overcrowded with lines. (:
Just a suggestion--your lineart looks great, but maybe you should taper the ends of your lines. It usually makes everything a lot cleaner. ^^

Thanks, (I love Sora's shirt too) and about Riku's shirt...all I have to say is if you have seen the ending of KH II that you'll understand why I made him wearing that. But my boyfriend said the same thing too.
How do you mean- taper the ends? I use OC 1.0 for the line art so maybe you can give some advice?

That isn't the cleanest taper in the world, but you get the picture. See how the line becomes gradually thinner out at the end? Like that (: It's really easy--just take the eraser tool and run it along the edge. ^^ Hope that was of some help!
