this picture really illustrates the vivid images painted in my mind as I was reading hemingway, "old man and the sea". beautiful book, as this is a beautiful shot. The depth and contrast sincerely emphasize this photo and the definition is absolutely amazing. I think i must also say how well perception and sensations are complements together and as a photographer i know how hard that is to do. Hopefully my work will be as powerful and beautiful as yours. Thank you for inspiration (:

When I saw this I thought it was an overhanging rock on top of a cliff, it looked like you were looking down into clouds. Now I know what it is and it is still beautiful.
