OH I went on my first trip to shanghai a few weeks ago!
yeah the air there seems rather polluted. Beautiful city nevertheless, especially at night with all those elevated roads.

technically, pollution IS the reason why sunsets are so pretty. sky would be all pink and purple and red and yellow like that if there weren't chemicals in the air.

I'm pretty sure that's a false statement.

well, I'm not saying that there would be no such thing as a sunset if there weren't any pollutants in the air, I'm just saying the pollutants in the atmosphere is what refracts the sunlight into such a wide variety of colors. I'm not just making this up you know I heard it from one of my science teachers, and a few other places. and it makes sense.
I'm not saying pollution is good, I know it's bad, very bad, all I said was that that's what causes all those beautiful sunsets, chemicals in the air. Believe me or don't believe me, I don't care. that's just what I've heard, from multiple sources.
