Personality: Lemon is super friendly, sociable, and easy to get along with. Having no experience as an actual Quartz Soldier or any method of hierarchy besides protecting Haüyne, he is rather naive on proper etiquette. He says what's on his mind, and will tell it like it is, yet somehow he's still sweet about it. He seems to bring out the best in everyone, and Haüyne is the prime example of that. Lemon is the only gem that has successfully brought back Haüyne's "humanity" so to speak.

When Lemon was first made, he emerged from his hole, only to be quickly taken for the very first part of this research. He was "poofed", and remained inside of his gem for many, many years. He received sulfide inclusions and took them well, and the process of Sulfurication was going very well. However, with each inclusion, Lemon's abilities changed, and his make-up was changing repeatedly. He couldn't form to be a huge quartz soldier. Though he took the sulfide well, the constant changing made him stay retreated into his gem longer and longer. Haüyne knew this was a good thing, but his superiors weren't as patient.. This sparked faster inclusions on other gems, which resulted in the beasts that Haüyne ended up destroying. But he kept Lemon safe, and continued slowly working on him. When Lemon finally was capable of making a viable form, he burst from the glass chambers that held him. It became apparent to Haüyne that he could experiment no further than what he'd done.. With all fast versions of the Sulfur Project being a failure, it was nice to see Haüyne's original method work well. Lemon formed, and with never knowing who he was before being selected for the research, Haüyne was the first gem he'd officially met. Lemon was instantly infatuated, and Haüyne couldn't help but be proud, protective, and compassionate for his biggest scientific success. Lemon's augmentations caused his form and powers to be different from other Lemon Quartz. For one, Lemon was short, about the size of a real Sulfur. Lemon gained a couple of the powers Sulfurs possess, and an involuntary "mutation" to his form that he doesn't use or mention due to insecurities. Form mutations were common on the Pseudo-Sulfurs, as it was a way for the gem to adapt to its new form and powers. Lemon was like a Pearl for Haüyne to others. A spectacle to behold. The first, successful Pseudo-Sulfur! But Lemon was much more than that. On top of having all of his powers as a Quartz, he had just what Haüyne's superiors originally wanted, and this lead to trouble..
