Made a mistake so many years ago,Wanted you so much, couldn’t let it show.
So used to feeling like this that I almost forgot,
Now I know you feel the same I’m so glad that I did not.
Want to spend my time with you, talking through the night,
After wishing for so long, can’t believe it’s all alright.
Almost gave up hope of ever being with you,
But deep inside I carried on, knowing what I feel is true.
Never mind the fact that we wasted so much time,
What matters most is finally I’m yours and you’re mine.
And even though we’ve hid our feelings for what seems like forever,
I think it’s safe to say-better late than never.
