Each day I don’t know what I will see,
Whisperings in my ear, don’t know how to be.
Falling for eternity, drowning in air,
Shutting everyone out, no one will care.

On the inside I’m crying in rage,
Wishing I could get out of this body, my cage.
Not caring but fearing what is coming next,
The tables keep turning, don’t know what to expect.

Losing in a game that was biased to start,
Crying a pastime, hurting, an art.
Wanting and wondering, not knowing if I breathe,
Wishing and hoping that this feeling will leave.

Staring in the mirror, at what lays behind,
The people all laughing, so clear in my mind.
Hating the person that’s staring right back,
Reach out and touch her before everything goes black.
