Tired of breathing,Desperate to cry.
Wishing you gone,
Can’t remember why.
Memories of better days,
Almost lost in my mind.
Wanted to follow but you
Left me behind.
Brow’s furrowed in confusion,
Distant look in my eyes.
While the world spins and goes on,
I think back to your lies.
The attempts to make me feel guilty,
The way you shamed me to my friends.
The taunting laugh as you hurt me-
But this is where my suffering ends.
Save the sound of the world,
And our breathing within.
This room is dead silent,
There’s no way you can win.
