i wish you could really find wild little fighting pokemans down at the rubbish dump, but its usually its just full of rats and seagulls!

Great picture, the shading looks really good!
The background is a great Idea, not a place you would expect to see in pokemon art.
Makes me think of all those foxes an critters that have taken to living in the city instead of in the wild.

it was roughly inspired by that idea, animals taken from their natural habitat and then just discarded once their novelty has worn off, and what better place for them then a rubbish dump

Wow, this looks pretty incredible. The shading looks amazing, I'm assuming you took the time with the brush tool to do so? Everything looks great here and I enjoy the lighting of the fire and how the light reflects off of Vulpix's fur, very neat additon.
