Something Halloween-ish, since I spent my first Halloween in North America this year! It's a pretty under-the-radar holiday back at home, only really meriting an excuse for them to play some classic late-night thrillers, or hit us with Halloween themed TV specials, so it was nice to finally live it, the way you see it on TV; with the pumpkins and the candy and the kids in costumes and all that.They let us off work early last week thanks to the Holidays, and so it gave me an opportunity to start, and chip away at this slowly over the last few nights. That being said, my new job has been doing my head in as of late, so this is about the only thing I've gotten done these days..

I know and as long as you're in the right city/town, you're never too old! Some towns try to ban anyone older than 13 from doing it with a 100 dollar fine though.

I mostly just watched kids get theirs, and only really hit a few doors myself. I felt a bit bad because I'd go in to get candy, and the people would make a comment or ask a question, and I'd just give them a silent stare; since I had no idea what they were saying, as the entire city speaks French, and I'm completely.. just English.

Andyeah, we were getting a lot of irate customers, because apparently people hate being disturbed by insurance salespeople more than usual on the Halloween weekend. So our supervisor threw in the towel and let us off early!

And yeah XD I'd be of the ones that are "get away from my door" but if it was you I'd let you in so you can take a break and explain what is it about and perhaps take your issurance offer (anything for friends u.ΓΊ )

Unfortunatelyy it's tele-sales, over the phone, which makes it more difficult because people don't have to bother with etiquette nor politeness (:. It saves time though, plus walking door-to-door once winter starts would be one hell of job!

Andyeah, We got all dressed up, went into the subway, and we were the only people wearing anything remotely costume-ish lawl. But when we got to the trick-or-treating spot, we found a lot more people, so it was fun yeah (:
