Description
Title is a line from Linkin Park's 'Numb', one of my favourite songs. I wasn't so sure what else to call it. I didn't want to focus on angst here too much- hope it didn't come across that way too much. Wanted more of a 'Stuff you! I'm too strong for these chains... I don't care I'm wet and I see light at the end of the tunnel...'....o.o Oh gosh, that didn't make sense....
A gift for . I have been working on this since January. No. Not every day. As in, I started in Jan- and I'd do an hour a day a month
. Had real real bad block and even now... not so sure about it.What to say..? Well, Sonidow I find an awesome character! One of my fav fancharacters and I always wanted to have a proper go at her. =Sonidowzero always portrayed her in a kinda dark, sound and a funky way as well. 'What you see is what you get'. I used to be mesmerized by how this character was represented- just such clean-cut attitude
Sonidow herself is a true, funny and genuine friend! She is one of my best net friends and I miss her very much since having to try and make-do without regular net anymore. She has always been there and kept in touch and too me that just says a lot. I feel very lucky to have her as a friend.

Aw man, sorry that I don't comment much Kate! It's just that now I'm a little afraid to comment works now since my writing haven't been going so well lately. And I tend to create comments so short in my opinion, I don't think I'm worthy to comment such nice pictures I get in my messages. ;; That and I'm a little late due to school x_x. But I shall try my best for you kate, 'cause you do deserve some nice comments. :3
First off, I really like how everything came out and all. I think the way you drew the character is really nice. I just love the position of the character and how the expression is too. The colorings are brilliant and really, the highlights just make the picture pop out like a sore thumb, but in a very good way. :3 I also like how you were able to do the foldings in the clothing too. =3
I just love how you were able to create such a splendid background as well! The water dripping and everything, even the sunlight that's comming through the cave. ^_^ I Mean, without that little sunlight here, the picture would be so dark and mysterious, yet also maybe a little sad if possible?

Thanks for noting those subtleties, you know, like the pose and the style of Sonidow. And even what you noticed about the light in the pic- and how the absence of light would make the pic a little darker and thus mysterious. I was seriously going to leave it that way. But then I thought that I had perhaps done one too many dark pics. This is a gift after all XD. I was originally going to have Sonidow entirely within a cave, and glistening water in the bg. Then this accidental blur of paint with its colours inspired me to do a sorta hazy foresty bg, and then I added light and all that?

Absoloutly beautiful! The way you have shown the light reflecting off of the stalegmites is ever so beautiful and I adore Sonidow's original stance! She looks really cool!

I missed seeing your stuff wraith
I really like what you did with this, along with the concept of it. And you DID make scence with the whole "I'm wet, I don't care, I see the light at the end of the tunnel."
I ESPECIALLY love the coloring used in this piece. The wet cave walls look as if you can reach out and touch their shiny, damp edges. The lighting is especially good. Without it, you really wouldn't be able to find and understand the whole mood of this picture.
I like the facial expression of her too
Also, is it me, or did you use a lot of symbolism?
And the water seems to also point out her mood. Wet, unhappy, but shows that she can take on anything.
Your coloring is getting better and better every picture. Man I wish I could do backgrounds like that. SERIOUSLY

I've missed you lots sister...and I hope you're doing alright.
This picture is very pleasing to the eye, with the mixture of darkness and light. Sonidow, as you said, really does look like she's saying "I'm stronger than that", while the chains seem to be related to some worry that might have been keeping her down. The pose is quite interesting, showing off the fact that Sonidow won't give up no matter what it takes. The water effects seem to freshen up the picture and kinda give it more life, and the shining lights radiate hope and strength!
Great job on this picture sissu...keep drawing and smiling.

Wow.. this is so amazing, and lighting and the scene portrayed here is just incredible!
I can really see that Sonidow loved this awesome spectacle of a gift! 
Supposedly, one of your stronger points in art is that you really know how to position characters! All your poses look just right, original, and kick-ass! Sonidow has an excellent crouching position in which she's bent up against the filtered cave light with the chains around her! The lighting is really refined and I can't express how divine the threads of water are!
I think your saturated color choice is very attractive to the audience eye, and the composition and proportions are also quite stupendous! The extremer contrast and detail in the clothing is also something to glance at for awhile
The lighting and the shape on the stoney cave stalactamites look really realistic especially in the way you painted them! Where did you get the awareness of achieving a natural sense of the formation of the cave? X)

As for the stalctamites- that's easy! Just apply a base colour, a bit of dark, bit of light. You just carry on and the more you do that, the more detail you'll get. And for finishing touches I apply some burn and highlight here and there.

WAHHHHHHH! its sooooooo beautiful. I've been sitting here staring for 30 mins at this picture, without moving an inch. I love that song too, but don't really like the remix version. kinda messes up the theme of the song. anyway off topic abit. (i think..)
the way you portray her is is simple amazing. heck any character you draw you draw them with such emotion, compassion, and i [link] . *twich* e.o damn my lack of english vocabulary. I love how you pose the characters. I's so limitied when it comes to poses. All i can do is standing or making them stand there looking pretty. XD; Your whole picture tells such a story, and you really did bring Sonidow to her true self. i totally forgot how the long haired Sonidow looked like! and with her winter bangs! wow im totally losing my memory.

The background is just as awsome as the characters. The half dark/lighted cave. I love the shinyness and the water dripping from the cave and how its been refelted by the light out side.
