TRUUUUUUUUUFAAAAAAAAAAX :IOn this account I used a base just once,and I used it for fun.On my previous account I was a fucking base abuser(fortunately I only used HTF bases) and I can't believe it.The only kind of bases I still use are stamp templates.I understand some people can't draw stuff,but when they use bases almost all the time....???O.o Well you should try to make your own drawings even if you suck at it.Art is always art as long if it's made by YOU.Try hard until it comes out at least 30% as you wanted to.Don't give up.Don't use stuff that is made by tracing a picture.It's not real art.When it's made by you,it's art,no matter how crappy it is

I've used bases a lot in a past account, but now, I don't, mainly because bases are lazy, they are overrated, as anyone with an account with nothing but used bases tend to get more watchers than users who make art from scratch, and the people who make the base sometimes trace from cartoons, video games, or comics, with some demanding you ask them before using a base, despite the fact they never asked the original company who made said cartoon, video game, or comic if it was okay to make a base out of a screenshot or panel.
Bases are not wrong, they should be banned, regardless of whether it's traced or original.Β People do need to learn to draw, not use bases and end up being slaves to base makers.

I always used bases when I first came in DA because I was such a lazy ass.. But now I'm happy with my scanned drawings! It looks much more better than my base edits.. :I

Well stamp templates don't really count as bases - they're just stamps.I can make stamps too,but I just like using templates.This stamp is talking about art,and stamps aren't artistic.

A very, very stupid thing for me to do.
Now, all of my art is 100% pencil, eraser, and grid & notebook paper.
And it still sucks, but my "base edits" were 100 times worse, dude.
