another abstract that was pretty fun playing around with! i was re-rendering it when I decided, "oh yeah let me check out that mandelbulb program" n so i opened it on my win7 64bit when i instantly received the bsod.
but this is it before it crashed! (luckily i had auto-save on 
) will re-render and change a few things. lastly, i'll upload the .c4d and original topmod object to megaupload soon. thanks for looking! 1920x1200 made in topmod and cinema 4d, rendered with fryrender, edited in photoshop. critiques comments welcome!

well, this was a 10+ hour render. 2560x1600 would take 20+ hours, and I don't have that time anymore =[ i'm sorry mate! i used to make 2560 resolutions, but no one really used em, so I stopped. many apologies!

Okay for future ones you should start to use this size cause people can easy take the bigger version and size it down if they have a smaller rez and 2560x1600 is starting to become more popular at home because of screen real-estate.

ahh, excellent point. it is becomin a bit more popular. however, majority still have smaller resolutions. not that I'm lazy, but to create this takes me over 20-30 hours on average. rendering this one took somewhere around 20 hours. the larger the resolution, the more render time increases. so I sort of shy away from 2560.
