yes you may.
yeah i tried layering it works,though;I only had 2 marker becuase i was a beginning still am, i had gray and black but i used some type of paper so i didn't need to wait for it to dry.
so red blue yellow purple green orange that's 30 dollars plus some paint red blue yellow black white that's 5 dollars total is 35 not bad.
do you know where to get screen tones i mean i know i can order them but i rather looks at the screen tones.

If you want to find some screentones in a physical store, I don't know what to suggest. In the UK the only place I've ever seen them for sale is an art store in London! I'd recommend ordering a few and finding your favourites through using them.
The recommended brands I know of... Immediately I think Letraset, but I believe they're a UK based company.
The other brand is the Japanese brand Deleter ("Deleter Paper" is the common type of manga draft paper used in the industry over there), they sell screentones that may be available more worldwide. Search the internet for those brands and see what you can find.

maybe you can mix colors :3
but it´s not realy recommendable to use this technique in the face

hm did you use a pink? or pencil? some people overlap.
matsuri hino uses markers and paint.
i saw that if you airbrush yellow and orange it looks great
i just got 57 dollar and i have 11 markers to choose from so i was thinking of what colour to chose.
oh and what type of paper you use?

in the part 1, i didn´t use pink.
i used a brown pencil for small shadows (from the hair)
i will tell more think in part 2 (maybe part 2) from the tutorial
PS: who is matsuri hino XD?

Nochmal ne Frage zu deiner "wet-technique" (xD):
Musst du dich nicht furchtbar abhetzen, um es hinzukriegen, dass das Papier noch "nass" ist, wenn du mit der dunkleren Farbe drübergehst? xD Ich mein, ich hab jetzt leider noch nicht soo viel Erfahrung mit Copics, aber von meinem letzten Versuch weiß ich noch, dass ich total panisch war, weil das alles so schnell getrocknet ist! Gerade bei größeren Flächen, wie das z.B. beim Gesicht der Fall ist - Wie machst du das?

man muss schon recht schnell sein :3
am besten immer die copics griffbereit haben
ansich kann ja die grundfarbe trocknen. Dann kannst du ja an den seiten wo es dunkler werden sollte ncohmal mit der e50 drübergehen und dann z.b e00 mit reinmischen.
ansich kann man ja öfters über eine fläche mit dem copic rübergehen um das die stelle dunkler wird. doch irgendwann ist der grad der dunkelheit erreicht. da kann man 100 ma mit der farbe drübergehen, d och die bleibt gleich. also fazit, kannst du die dunkele stelle ja mit dem selben copic "anfeuchten" und erneut ne dunklere farbe wie e11 druntermischen

ah, aber was ich noch vergessen habe oder nicht beachtet, bei größeren flächen wenn es a3 ist, wird es schon schwieriger, ich glaube dann würde ich die andern spitze des copics benutzen.
ist mir letztens aufgefallen. da benutzt ich dann nicht mehr die weiche spitze sondern die harte breite :3

Von den Bildern her, könnte man glatt meinen, es wäre Aquarell. Ich denke mit Aquarell gehst du ähnlich vor wie mit Copics? Oder gibt es da schon größere Unterschiede?

How is it that you keep the paper wet in those specific areas?

I used copic like you! I use many different papers: print paper 80g. for sketch but for a illustration I use a watercolor paper 200g, because I 've also watercolor pencils and pens stabilo.
Your Tutorial is extremly clear and I understand for a wet paper [was the same with pantone] !
