Geez, this became an adventure! This was actually my third attempt at drawing this character from Monty Python's Life of Brian, something I've been wanting to do since last summer already. I had tried twice before and both times I guess the pic I was working off of wasnt that good since it never came out looking like Michael. It always looked like someone who was trying to look like Michael, if that makes any sense.

So, in case you havent already guessed, this is the amazing Michael Palin as Pontius Pilate, from Life of Brian. This is the Passover address scene and Pilate is confused as to why the crowd's making fun of him. On the whole I was impressed Now just like the other Pilate I've done, [link] the laurel wreath was a challenge, but for a different reason. The leaves were a little hard to see and the shapes were obscure because of the angle his head is, but the times I tried different angles I had the aforementioned issues.

I've come to realize I really like drawing characters with odd expressions on their faces (in this case, confusion) and making it come out right
