Description
A very BASIC tutorial on how to pic colours when you draw!!
Before teaching you my ways how I shade skin, clothes or eyes, I think it´s important to develop your own sense of colours first.
Even if you know how I do it, there is no way you can achieve alike results, or results you are pleased with yourself, unless you know what colours you like!
It´s very simple and I hope it´s useful for beginner artists that struggle!
Feel free to use this palette to help you on the way.
Credit is NOT needed but I would love to see results of it´s usuage so feel free to link it here in the comments ♥

give a purple undertone to the black, she said in her video when you color with black give it a slight purple tinge to give more color and life to black.

Thank you for uploading this! I often have difficulty finding a good color scheme and figuring out how large or small the contrast between colors should be. I don't think I will be using your palette for actual illustrations, but I plan to look at it constantly and study the contrasts between colors and stuff to try and develop a palette that works for me! I also have your video about this saved to help me with this as well. Thank you!

Hey, thank you! It's helped me a lot to color pictures better. ^-^ Better than a few years ago.
I really love It, because It's colorfull, and easy to use. x3 And Am I see right, that It's made to Sai? (Yo, perhaps not just to that program, but in... "standard"?)
P.S: Sorry for my bad English, I'm Hungarian.

It is all personal preference! If you like it like that, nobody is stopping you! ♥
But for this particular Palette, gray would look out of place because everything else is so colorful!
And using greyish blue or purple always look lovely! But pure gray usually looks very dull imo!

ahh yeah, i see what your saying,
I just think using different colors for white
looks kinda weird, though that's apparently
what you use and your art is perfect so,
thanks for the reply c:

This is a pic i drew using the coloring from this tutorial. I LOVE the colors you used here.
If you ever see my drawing, do you have any tips for the white shirt? I could shade it but I
wasn't sure how to give it the shine spots...
Thank You!

To be honest, I learned all my details from watching anime. And studying how everything has a effect on other things.
It quite annoys me that people make tutorials for art.
Art is something you need no practice with.
Its something every human can make.
We all have to learn ourselfs to make things less complex.
You can't exactly say your every thought in one video to get it across, and so the person understands.
Its best for us to learn the detailing from seeing a dog walking. So we get the shadowing, and the lighting correctly.
Thank you for reading this. /
