This being my first time seeing a sample of your artwork, you have made me want more. It's a rare treat to see an adoptable "adapted" in such an original style.
Let's start off with the way Fahrenheit blends into his background, because that is my FAVORITE part. He stands out from his background, yet he's still a part of it. This is obviously his natural environment, and even though he blends in like a chameleon, he's still very much the center of the figure. The lava climbs up from the base of his foot and spirals around his body--just like it runs off of the rocks behind him.
In terms of anatomy, the body shows that you've been drawing dragons for a long time. The scale pattern is beautiful. The accessories--like the horns, the sharp end of the nose, and frills--fit in well with the rest of his body. The wings follow a natural formation--though the smaller appendages on the wings seem kind of flaccid. The bones look soft, or maybe jagged. Was this intentional?
Quick question- that tail seems pretty far into the background. Is that just because he has a particularly long midsection, or maybe just a long tail?
And finally, the background. The far background of the pictures conveys a sense of heat. The shades of red and gray are absolutely perfect for the extreme temperature. Good use of fiery ashes as well. I would suggest adding some more flaming embers/ashes from the lava to the foreground, but that might also take away from the contrast that I said I liked so much.
