Hi everyone, I'm back!! Sorry for the "non-informed" leave, and it's actually been a year which is kinda crazy XDFor those you don't know, I basically went to a school to do some leveling up, and the school was so intense that I basically had no time for keeping up my socialmedia updates. Anyway, here is my latest project that I started at the school but will keep developing. The main character is named Ruby and she is a hunter/explorer type girl living in a desert area. here is the environment design of her hometown

What a great character, I like her a lot. Don't quite understand what's going on with the jacket/exoskeleton... but I'm not sure I care, so many great aspects! Look forward to more.

thank you! well the idea of the jacket is that she lives in the desert area, because she needs to travel around a lot, she needs to wear something protective but light to protect her skin from both sun and sandstorm (imagine she could quickly cover her face with that

No, I get that, I would wear a jacket, too! What I don't understand is why it's so bulbous and unusually shaped. Is it full of water? Is it also a pack? How does it stay on, is it attatched to her hat? It doesn't seem to be attatched to her clothing, only loosley draped about her wrists; so if it weren't somewhat ridgid, I don't get why it doesn't fall, how it stays up over her shoulders, and not dragging around her behind. This doesn't make visual sense to me, is what I'm saying. It's beautifully rendered, but the structure is a mystery. Your skills as a painter aren't in doubt at all.

actually i really don't recommend the school, just my personal experience being not super pleasant and i dont think it's worths the tuition fee, sorry I can't say too much in public

I couldn't leave. Thought since I left for almost a year too while I was moving to a new home, I haven't been able to get use to submit often again. At least not illustrations.
