The Moomin Family look very tired, as if they haven't slept for 33 days, Little My looks anorexic, Sniff looks very forlorn and starved, Snufkin looks as if he went on a murder spree, Snork looks like a half-demon, Mr. Hemulen looks just as depressed as Sniff, Fillyjonk looks very stressed, the Groke looks more baleful than ever, the Hattifatteners look more ghastly than the original and the Lady of the Cold looks as if one glimpse of her could kill you in a second. This is disturbing.

Funny thing, earlier todayΒ my friend and I were talking in the car about what Moomins would look like in Tim Burton style when I searched and found this.
My personal favorite character is Sniff. He seems toΒ be a bit of a hit or miss with fans, but I see him as an adorkable, huggablyΒ quirky underdog. Most of the time he pops up, I'm all "Awww, poor thing", laughing or fawning over his cuteness. He looks kinda emaciated in Tim Burton style. Poor thing, I just wanna give him a bunch of pie to fatten him up.
The Moomins look pretty tired, almost like they missed out on Hibernation. Groke actually looks scarier here than in the 1990 anime. In the anime, I thought she looked more derpy and comical than terrifying. Plus, I always found the Groke's theme music to be hilarious.

I actually never grew up with Moomins, growing up in Nebraska and all but I discovered it in 2013 and became a fan. My personal boogey man when I was a kid was that headless Jenova thing in Final Fantasy VII.

The Groke looks scarier at night than in the daytime. I guess it was her large size and the fact that most everything she touched froze scared people. If the Groke was a real creature, she'd actually probablyΒ be easy to outrun because while powerful, she seems rather sluggish and slow. Plus, this should make the Groke even less scary:

I recognize them all, Snufkin looks like he's on a killer spree. The only thing missing for him is a knife. Moomin family and Hemulen looks like they have been doing drugs for a long time. Little My is neglected and have anorexia. Sniff I don't know. He looks like is going to keel over any minute. Snork seems to be a wanna be demon. Fillyjonk seems to be stressed out. Stinky is staring into my soul. Groke with her abnormal arms...

AWESOME DUDE! They really looks T.B-ish. I wouldn't want to meet them in a Burton version of the moomins. Groke would definatly give me a heart attack together with the Lady of the Cold. And Stinky, man I never though he could look so scary.
