Have you already tried my MicroBoot v2 ? It's made for monitors with aspect ratio 16:10, just like yours.

I'm really pleased to read you like my work,
but up to now I have no clue how to modd 7's bootscreen.

Awww. what a bummer. Though I still have my netbook running on XP i was wondering if it was possible to change that little 'loading tab' at the bottom? like a circular loading tab like when firefox loads a site or like when youtube buffers, you know?

... or you could just remove it? i just think it's too generic XP. lol

and 1 more suggestion, how about a metro style bootscreen? like zune icons or WP7?

anyway... love the work!

but i just don't know what to save this file under
lol

yanomami In reply to ZebbyRuusvejj [2010-04-16 22:11:21 +0000 UTC]

First download the tbs to any folder. Then you just need to double-click the tbs file. TuneUp Styler thereupon opens and adds the bootscreen to your collection. Just select it, then click on the Install button and you're done!
I TuneUp Styler opens without adding the bootscreen automatically, you can do this manually: Click on "Add", "Load bootscreen from file...", then navigate to the tbs file downloaded, click "Open". Finally select the installed bootscreen from the list and click "apply".

have you yet posted just your base images for this (in a zip file perhaps with a couple different standard rez's) and I'll see then what I can do to make this a bootable screen for 7, or maybe I'll just use it as my background either way it'd be appreciated!

But please don't be disappointed about the missing progress bar - Vista doesn't support this feature in alternative boot screens.

yanomami In reply to kendmd [2009-04-05 08:43:25 +0000 UTC]

Hi Ken,
I'm glad you like my MicroBoot!
Yep, if you already have SP3 installed, there won't be any problems.
However be careful, if you use SP2: Before installing SP3 you'll have to set the bootscreen back to standard. Otherwise the installation of SP3 will fail. Afterwards you can re-apply any TBS.
I personally stick to SP2, cause a lot of my system files are modded and won't work on SP3.
Hopefully this was helpful.
