One of my favorite characters of the series so far. Maybe its the badass attitude and the explosives, but Fiddler reminds me of the medieval equivalent of a special operative.Feel free to check out some of the other stuff I've made for the series!

A survivor. A grim, sympathetic survivor. A grizzled veteran (though, weirdly, in GotM, he is described as being only a few years older than the twelve year old Ganoes).

Yes. I think it is in the first or second page in GotM, where Whiskeyjack, Ganoes and Fiddler talk, and Paran says that he knows what "Laseen" means.
You see, GotM was written in the late eighties-early nineties, whereas the plot of the rest of the series was conceived in the late nineties. The timeline is a bit convoluted as a result. For eg, when Whiskeyjack and the soon-to-be Bridgeburners chase BAD in Raraku (MoI), Fiddler is there, and has had to be at least in his late teens. Whereas the culling in the Mouse Quarter of Unta (GotM) takes place quite a few years later, and nine years before the events of GotM. The timeline is all mixed up. Besides. Adjunct Lorn is hinted to be about twenty years of age, and a very good swordmaster. I find that, frankly, unbelievable.

Haha tbh I originally had fiddle head sticking out of his backpack, but then realized that it looked too obvious. I also only recall him having the Fiddle on him during that flashback where we first meet him.
