I picture Birdie just chilling out, with a cup of tea, in nature, with a dress she designed herself for the occasion.
She mostly just makes basic dresses that are comfortable to wear on the farm she lives in, but she dreams to make a more formal dress once...
Spring would be a nice excuse!

Ooooooh, but where even to begin?
I am LOVING the colours! So bright, so happy, so... just so full of life. I love the lineless background, as it brightens the drawing without dragging attention away from the main-subject. Speaking of subject; I adore Birdie's dress; the colours are just straight up my alley, and the design of the dress makes her look all grown-up and ladylike. I also really love that you still incorporated the tea-cups as well as her umbrella.
Birdies pose is sweet and fits her like a glove, and that expression of hers really works to her favour. It still has that youthful innocence meanwhile she is still looking like a proper lady. Great job! And good luck with the competition.
