So if SEGA will ever let the company use Metal Sonic 3.0 from Sonic Rivals 2 *which means being able to use Dr. Nega* then wouldn't Nega mistake Shard for 3.0? Or would there be some kind of an epic battle between the 2 robots? Well, I guess it all depends if Shard isn't erased from the new timeline like other characters I can think of. *cough* Ken Penders characters *cough* Also, wouldn't he be considered stronger compared to Metal Sonic's constant defeats? (Currently at Metal Sonic v3.8 to be specific) that how I usually saw him in that game. Well, if there ever was a battle between Shard and Nega's Metal Sonic 3.0, it's pretty obvious who would win.

I love shard, since Metal Sonic was allways one of my favorite characters, but if Shard is made out of metal, how does he have a moving mouth?

I know others have said this before, but the "Cinos" name concept reminds me of Sonic Shorts, Volume 6. Still, glad he's named Shard, ^^ And I simply adore his personality.

I'd like to say that I like all of the designs here, but I like the one you went or him in the comic as the actual design. The on in the middle gives off a Metal Sonic vibe, which he kinda is, so it fits. The one on the end gives of a Sonic vibe, which he acts like. But the one that's in the comic feels like him the most because he is no longer the Metal Sonic that he was and is not the actual Sonic, making him feel more original.
So, thank you for chosing the first one, it fits him the best.
