Okay, First off, I have two diffrent versions.. one is the High Res (about 7.41 megs) for DSL people and a Low res (1Mb) for the dial-ups. The Low res is... well.. low resolution... its not horrible, but not as good as the High resolution one
-any way- this is the HIGH RESOLUTION version! The Low Res can be found here [link] This is how I paint in photoshop with a mouse, that doesnt mean its "the way" its just how i do it! Also I am not an English scholar, and my grammar and spelling is really bad so please bear with me! lol!!

The painting job looks amazing, and the tutorial is very well done, but I think that the draw (the lines) are a lit strange, specially the face of horse...
Did you try to hide the layer with the lines, or just reduce the opacity, blending in darker or overlay mode...I think the painting is so amazing that the lines are not necessary anymore..

thanks, and probably, i dont paint this way any more, its really only for a mouse. I like to paint without lines now, unless its pencil.

i am having a problem, when its in photoshop and the layers and everything is set up correctly, the magic wand is selecting the line itself and not just the outside of the figure... I have the wand's settings correctly, whats goin on?

i dont know anything about paintshop pro, just make sure you have the correct layer selected and make sure the sensitivity settings on the magic wand is set to a low tolerance. also, you can invert the selection, so if its selecting the line just invert the selection and it should work. i dont know how to do that in Paintshop pro. but in photoshop its control + shift+ i

i am having trouble doing this, once it is in paint shop and the layers are all set up, it is selecting the line itself, i have shut off sample all layers, etc but it is just selecting the line

How come I have photoshop element 6 and it doesn't look like this. Even the pen tool you use it different. I don't have any pen tool. All I have is a brush and a pencil.

photoshop elements is like a cheaper version of photoshop, it doesn't have all the features that photoshop CS2 or CS3 has
