Ep.28: Refusal of Perishment

Tasting death is not a privilege most have had tasted twice. At least one of Alek's chicks will have a chance. In a feat of pure parental care, the giant male Anzu leaps over a log to violently kick an Acheroraptor temertyorum from the back of his youngster. This vicious raptor is decently rare to spot and weirdly even rarer to attack a baby Anzu in full daylight, this raptor must be desperate, but that brings no excuse for a delivery of compassion. The baby heals from the wounds of the sharp teeth and claws, but hopefully nothing too drastic. The raptor, on the other hand, lingers to the next meal, hopefully a less dangerous one too.
