Ep.05: Self-Sustenance

The young Brontosaurus gain access to the local natural water sources and plant growth to keep their ever-growing body alive and well. Such large herbivores need to be constantly eating and feeding, something amazing actually. Even as these small juveniles, with just two meters long, eating is one of their primary activities. Berna is no exception, as she swallows a good amount of water from a natural freshwater flow from under the rocks, after she fed on the usual pile of ferns, horsetails, mosses and coniferous buds, cones and leaves. Unfortunetly this diminute waterhole is one that is very exposed in a rocky creek. The small choristoderan Cteniogenys antiquus gives space to the small giants. The hottest part of the year is coming again, and the hungry predators are no longer expected to have mercy, this time.
