FULL VIEW IS A MUST. I'm sorry about the huuuuge file size.I know I know. The file size is huuge. But when I was creating this, the file size was in the MB. o_0; But anyways, this took forever to make. Anyone who views Star's crazy way she uses PSP7 is muchly loved.
I hope this is easy to follow too... I think it is, but I know what I do.

Make sure in a) you are in the right layer, and b) in the "Tool Options" box, when flood fill is selected, make sure the little drop down menus are set on "Blend mode: Normal" and "Match Mode: RGB Value".

This is the best PSP 7 tutorial that is actually useful. Since I have PSP 7, this rules! Only thing is, I have to go to the colors layer, select it with the magic wand, go to the shading layer and then do the shading. But it works and my art looks a lot better doing this techinque. Thanks!

Ah. Well, sometimes it does that for some reason.. my friend's PSP7 does that too. Make sure that you're on the right layer, and that you didn't miss any part of the outline. If that doesn't fix the problem, then maybe try copy and pasting all the layers of the picture you're working on onto a new blank picture and save it. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to do. =/
