Description I was board and didn't feel like working on a new skin, so I decided to take my colors.inc file to the next level.

I hopped on wikipedia and found a list of every color that appears in all of their articles (which, I imagine, is as close to every named color as one can reasonably expect), along with their RBG balances.

after some spreadsheet manipulation, find and replace commands, and value conversion (had to convert from percentage to whatever scale it is color codes use, per-255 I guess), it was done.

EDIT: made a small mistake packing the .rmskin, fixed it.

included are 795 different color variables, formatting is consistent with what you see in the preview image (all lower case, no spaces, etc.) all values are the nearest integer equivalent to their official percentile definition, on the 255 max scale.

I don't think many people will find a use for this, (maybe in some color picker skin), but I imagine that one or two people may feel inclined to play around with it just for fun. for those few, I have the spreadsheet I used to make this with, PM me if you would like a copy.

*******when using this, be aware that you are adding a lot of variable names to the operating environment, errors may occur if you name a variable the same as one defined in this file (I'm not sure what rainmeter does for name scoping and overwriting).

Why not make a variable that literally is just the hex code...? like is ffffff=255,255,255 and like is ff0000=255,0,0
that would help alot

yes i understand youd have to type it out you dont have to point it out

I'm glad you got some use out of it. Β Sadly I don't think I have a copy of the spreadsheet any more, its been a while since I had to use it and I can't recall where I put it, or if I even made a point of keeping it anywhere other than my desktop.

Liked this idea, but not good with memorizing names, so I made a simple color picker skin ->[link]

well done. I've considered making a color picker skin a few times but never got around to it. I'll keep yours in mind if I ever try to integrate a color picker into one of my projects.

let me know if you get a better way to adjust the brightness. I'm terrible with percentages. thanx
